Mumbai South India Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai International Airport and start your tour. You will be received by our IHPL representative at the airport who escorts you to the hotel. Once you complete the check-in formalities at the hotel, you are free to spend the day at leisure.
You can do any activity you want to. You can visit the popular attractions; can indulge in fun activities at the beach, can gorge on street food. Stay overnight.

Day 2: Mumbai - Bangalore
The morning is free for you to relax at leisure. Proceed to the airport in the afternoon to board a flight for Bangalore to continue your tour. Transfer to your pre-booked hotel upon arrival. Spend the day at leisure.
Take a stroll around the nearby locations, interact with the locals or you can visit the famous markets. Stay overnight.

Day 3: Bangalore - Shravanbelagola - Chikmagalur
On the third day, have your breakfast in the morning and take a city tour where you are going to visit Lal Bagh, Mysore Arts and Crafts Center, Botanical Gardens and Nandi Temple. Later after lunch, leave for Chikmagalur while visiting Shravanbelagola, an important Jain religious site, on the way.
On arrival at Chikmagalur, check in at your hotel for staying overnight.

Day 4: Chikmagalur - Belur - Halebid - Mysore
The tour continues to Mysore. En route, stop at the historical sites of Belur and Halebid for a while. These two small but beautiful temple towns are world heritage sites. These two sites are home to ancient temples built during the 12th century at the time of the reign of Hoyasala.
Later, continue drive to Mysore and check-in to hotel for overnight stay. If time and energy permit, you can explore the nearby location on foot.

Day 5: Mysore
Leave for post-breakfast Mysore sightseeing tour that covers City Palace, Chamundi Hill and the local spice markets. The afternoon is free to relax at leisure. Leave for an excursion trip to the splendid Brindavan Gardens in the evening. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Mysore - Bangalore - Cochin
Continue your tour on day 6 from Mysore. Proceed by road to Bangalore. Visit Srirangapatna on the way. You may visit the Ranganathaswamy temple, Tipu Sultan’s fort and the other attractions. Reach Bangalore airport to board a flight for Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin airport, transfer to your hotel for staying overnight.

Day 7: Cochin - Kumarakom
After breakfast, leave for Cochin sightseeing tour that will include visits to St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace. At noon, proceed to Kumarakom to continue the Tour. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel to spend the night.

Day 8: Backwaters Cruise
Spend the day in Kumarakom at leisure. Sail along the tranquil backwaters of Kerala on a boat, you will cross the quaint villages, the surrounding lush greenery, paddy fields and coconut grooves. Take rejuvenating herbal oil massages that are best to soothe your spirits. Retire to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Kumarakom - Thekkady
Continue your Tour with our representative who escorts you on a drive towards Thekkady. Transfer to a resort on arrival. After a brief halt, proceed to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most well-known ones in the country. Enjoy a wildlife safari here inside the park. Stay overnight.

Day 10: Thekkady - Madurai
Morning leave for a boat ride along the serene Periyar Lake, you will indulge in bird watching where spotting several beautiful avifauna species. Continue driving for Madurai at noon, after lunch and transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Visit the ancient Meenakshi Temple in the evening and retire to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 11: Madurai - Chennai
Leave for Madurai sightseeing tour during the day. Visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Mariamman Teppakkulam Tank and Gandhi Museum. Board the scheduled flight for Chennai to continue the Tour and get transferred to your hotel upon arrival for staying overnight.

Day 12: Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Experience the rich historical and religious legacy of South India with a day trip to Kanchipuram – one of the seven sacred cities of Hindus and Mahabalipuram- A UNESCO world heritage site on day 12 of your Tour.
Enjoy a guided tour to the ancient rock-cut temples which are an architectural masterpiece. Also visit the handloom industry from where you can get excellent-quality silk. The night is spent at the hotel in Chennai.

Day 13: Departure from Chennai
Morning leave for a sightseeing tour through Chennai that includes Fort St. George, Victoria Art Gallery, San Thome Cathedral , Bronze Gallery and Chennai Museum, as well as Kapaleeswarar Temple. Transfer to Chennai airport later to board onward flight back home.
