Karnataka With Backwaters

Day 1: Delhi
On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. After straitening your back for a while, set off to visit the major tourist attractions of Delhi covering Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and the Gandhi memorial. In the evening you have the option of exploring the pulsating night life of Delhi. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Bangalore
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight to Bangalore. After arrival in Bangalore, proceed to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bangalore covering Shivasamudram Falls, St. Mark's Cathedral, ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra Temple and Wonderla Amusement Park. After lunch visit the popular sites like the Nandi Temple and the Vidhan Soudha temple.
In the evening board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bangalore - Mysore
In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Mysore. Stop midway to visit Srirangapatnam. The city is a house for some of the most spectacular monuments. On reaching Mysore, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later in the day embark on a city tour of Mysore.
Later in the evening move out to visit the Golden Royal Elephant, The Mysore Palace, Chamundeshwari temple, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo and the Durbar hall. You will be spending your night at hotel. Also visit the St. Philomenas Church, built in the Gothic style and is one of the largest churches of the country. Spend a night in the hotel.

Day 4: Mysore - Coorg
Post breakfast, drive down to Coorg. Coorg is one of the most beautiful hill stations of Karnataka. The area is basically rich in coffee estates, pepper and cardamom. On reaching Coorg, check-in at one of the listed hotels. Rest and relax for the day in your hotel room.
In the evening take a leisurely walk to explore the alluring surroundings of Coorg. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Coorg
Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Coorg. The major tourist hotspots of Coorg scheduled for the day include Madikeri Fort, Gaddige Raja's Tomb, Nalknad palace and the Abbey Falls. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Coorg - Wayanad
Next morning after breakfast, drive straight to Wayanad. Wayanad is a beautiful hilly region located in the southern region of the Deccan plateau. Hidden away in the hills of this land are some of the oldest tribes, as yet untouched by civilization. On reaching Wayanad, check-in at one of our listed hotels.
After resting for a while, set off to visit the major tourist attractions of Wayanad covering Edakkal cave, Banasura Sagar Dam, Kuruva Dweep, Chembra Peak and the Meenmutty Fall. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Wayanad – Cochin
Post breakfast, head straight to Cochin by surface. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After relaxing for some time, embark to visit some of the major tourist attractions of Cochin like the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Jewish Synagogue.
Enjoy the spectacular view of giant Chinese Fishing Nets being lowered on the famous Vasco-da-Gama Square. Later in the evening enjoy the boat cruise in the beautiful port city of Cochin. Retire for the night at the Cochin hotel.

Day 8: Cochin
Next day in the morning wake up early and after breakfast, take a leisurely walk to the Fish and Spice market of Cochin. The day is to be spent at leisure. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Cochin – Kumarakom
In the morning after breakfast, head straight to Kumarakom. On reaching Kumarakom, check-in at one of our listed houseboat for an overnight cruise to Kerala backwaters. The backwaters of Kerala features a network of rivers, lagoons, streams, canals and tanks occupying the plain between the Indian Ocean and the western ghats, running along the coast from Kollam to Kochi.
The journey on the traditional long boats provides for one of the most delightful journeys giving a unique quiet view of Kerala village. Enjoy overnight at the cruise.

Day 10: Backwaters - Kumarakom
In the morning after enjoying breakfast on the cruise finish your house boat journey by mid day and be fetched from the Alleppey finishing point. This pristine back water town with its numerous coconut palms lined waterways and tiny villages have a laid back & relaxed feel to it.
Later in the day start for a sightseeing tour of Alleppey covering places like Karumadi, Krishnapuram Palace, Pandavan Rock and the beautiful Alleppey beach. In the evening return to Kumarakom for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Kumarakom
Early in the morning start for Kumarakom. The place is the perfect paradise for bird watchers. On reaching Kumarakom, visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. After bird watching head to the hotel for check-in and breakfast.
Later in the day visit the Bay Island Driftwood Museum which showcases great collection of quality driftwood articles holding high artistic values, prepared through an innovative modern art technique. Enjoy dinner and night stay in Kumarakom.

Day 12: Kumarakom – Periyar
Post breakfast, start for a guided walking tour to the spice villages that are scattered all over Periyar. While on this tour enhance your knowledge about the use of spices to enhance your skills of cooking good seafood. Get to know more about the uses of these spices and enhance your knowledge on the cooking skills. Stay at your hotel in Periyar for the night.

Day 13: Periyar
Post breakfast, proceed to Periyar Wildlife Tiger Reserve to enjoy the jeep safari. Periyar is a true paradise of elephants. Later in the evening you may enjoy boat ride at Periyar Lake. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14: Periyar - Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel, drive straight to Munnar. On arrival at Munnar, get transferred to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Munnar is an idyllic tourist destination offering an unending expanse of tea plantation.
The presence of lush green surroundings, lakes, reservoirs and forests are there to enthrall you. The place is visited by many adventures-seeking travelers, who have a keen interest in paragliding. Explore the Rajamala Hills. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Munnar
Post breakfast, proceed to the sightseeing tour of Munnar. The major tourist hotspots scheduled for today are Atukkad Waterfalls, Chithirapuram, Blossom Park and Pothamedu View Point. Also enjoy an excursion to Eravikulam national park, where one can find the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. In the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 16: Munnar - Cochin - Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, drive down to Cochin airport from Munnar to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching the Delhi airport board a connecting flight for onwards journey.
