Nepal Pilgrimage Tour

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
On arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be recieved by eLand Holidays representative who will assist your transfer to your pre booked hotel. The capital city Kathmandu Kathmandu is located in a bowl shaped valley of central Nepal. This royal city was built by king Gun Kamdev in 723 A.D. Kathmandu can be compared to an open air museum exhibiting famous sites, ancient temples, shrines and golden pagodas.
Proud possessor of several beautiful and interesting villages, Kathmandu is a city of immense historic, artistic and cultural interest.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Chitwan
After early morning breakfast at the hotel you will drive towards Chitwan which is approx 180 Km from Kathmandu. After this 05 hours drive you will reach Chitwan that houses Asia�s most well-preserved conservation area - the Chitwan National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a thrilling wildlife experience. Endangered species like the elusive Royal Bengal tiger and the One-horned rhinoceros can be spotted in the wilderness of the Chitwan. expanded over 360 square miles, the national park is safehaven for a wide number of flora nad fauna alongwith 450 species of birds.
On arrival check in at yuor pre booked hotel.

Day 03: Chitwan National Park
The Chitwan National Park exapnded over 960 Sq Km is the richest wildlife reserve in Nepal. This erstwhile hunting ground of imperial families is renowned for its rich and diverse wildlife and tall grassland habitat. After early morning breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a day full of excitement and entertainment in the jungle. Explore the wildlife amid the dense canopy of jungle in an open jeep safari. You can also opt for elephant safari that offers magnificent views from the back of the giant animal. Indulge yourself into various other activities as well. Nature Walk, Canoeing, Dugout canoe and Bird Watching are the various activities offered during this wildlife trip. Walking through the jungles observing the lifestyle and art forms of the Terais gives an overwhelming experience. Return to the hotel after this exciting expedition.

Day 04: Chitwan-Lumbini
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive towards your next destination which is a highly venerated place - Lumbini. This Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Besides Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya, and Sarnath, Lumbini is the fourth magnet for pilgrimage that are respected by devotees. Buddha Gautama who founded the Buddha tradition is believed to have lived in Lumbini till the age of 29. Lumbini houses several temples. The ones you will visit are the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, and Ashoka Pillar.

Day 05: Lumbini-Pokhara
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Pokhara - the second largest city of Nepal. The valley of Pokhra is also renowned as the �Jewel of the mid-west�. On arrival, check in at your pre booked hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. In the evening, enjoy boating on the magnificent Phewa Lake.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06 Sightseeing in Pokhara
After early morning breakfast, you will step out for an adventurous trip in Pokhara valley.Set in the scenic backdrop of the splendid Annapurna range of mountains Pokhara valley is a favorite of tourists from around the globe. Bathed in the beauty of three exotic lakes Phewa, Rupa and Begnas, this valley is an ultimate destination for those seeking peace. But this doesnt restrict it as a calm tourist spot as it caters adventure seekers as well. Come to Pokhra and enjoy the adventures sports such as paragliding, ultra-light flights, trekking and mountain biking. Visit Bindebasini Temple - one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. Also visit Seti George and Davis Fall. This will be followed by a visit to Tibetan Refugees Camp.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven back to the capital city Kathmandu. On arrival check in at your pre booked hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Explore the colorful surroundings, get out on a shopping spree or just relax enjoying the scenic environment.
Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 08: Kathmandu-Nagarkot
After early morning breakfast you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of the beautiful and pious Kathmandu city. Start your tour with one of the greatest shrines of Hindu religion - Pashupatinath Temple. Nurtured by the waters of the exotic Bagmati river, this holy shrine reflects the great Nepalese temple architecture.This two tiered magnificent golden temple houses hundreds of Shiva lingams, idols of various Hindu god and goddess.Non Hindus are not permitted to enter courtyard of the temple, they are taken on the other side of the river in the East to enjoy the view of the temple complex. This holy trip will be followed by sightseeing in the city of Durbar square. Famous for erstwhile palaces and old temples, this spot enjoys a great status among ardent travelers. Proceed your footsteps towards the world heritage sight of Swayambhunath. Besides paying tribute to Buddhism, this site offers picturesque view of the Kathmandu Valley.

Proceed to Patan en route visiting a tibetan refugee camp. At the camp you will observe the making of Tibetan carpets - their spinning, dyeing and weaving. Patan is one of the oldest cities of the Kathmandu valley.
You will then drive to Nagarkot prior to the fading of day light. Relish the breattaking views of the Himalayan sunset.
On arrival, check in at your pre booked resort.

Day 09: Nagarkot - Kathmandu
Wake up early in the morning to experience a never before seen sunrise of your life. Witness the sun coming out from the veils of great Himalayan greenery from your resort. Breakfast at the hotel will be followed by drive back to Kathmandu. The half day sightseeing tour will cover the most exotic highlights of the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visit Kumari Temple - the Living Virgin Goddess of Hindu religion. This exquisite temple is located inside the Basantapur Durbar built by King Jaya. Proceed your footsteps towards the world heritage sight of Syambhunath. Besides paying tribute to Buddhism, this site offers picturesque view of the Kathmandu Valley. You will then visit Patan the city famous for its arts and crafts. Visit the Shikara (Krishna Temple), Patan Durbar, Buddhist Monastery Hiranya Varna Mahavir.
Evening will be at leisure. Enjoy the rickshaw ride to savor on the delicious Nepalese dinner at a local restaurant.
Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Kathmandu - Onward Destination
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred by our representative to the airport. Board the flight for your onward destination saying goodbye to the beautiful Nepal.
