Day 1 : Delhi to Leh.
Flight for Leh In time you will be transferred to the domestic airport by the representative to catch the flight for Leh. On your arrival in Leh you will be greeted by our representatives there. They will assist you till the hotel as the rest of the day will be free for you to get familiar with the high altitude region. Also, you can continue with your personal activities followed by
overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : In Leh
On your second day the the excursion will begin in the afternoon. First you will head towards Phyang Gompa which is situated 20 km from Leh on the right side of Leh-Srinagar road. Phyang Gompa is popular for its 900 years old museum while the Shankar Gompa (associated with the Spituk Gompa) serves as the residence for the Head lama. Then you will visit Spituk Gompa which is situated at a distance of 8km from Leh and is the venue to the famous Gustor Festival. Later you will come back to hotel for the overnight.

Day 3 : A Day for Leisure
The third day will be for you to relax, roam around or do your own individual activity as in the following days you will be taken on real trekking experience. The Real Trekking Experience

Day 4 : Exciting Start from Leh to Stok to Base of Stok-la
The fourth day you will drive to Stok passing through Choglamsar and begin your trekking towards the base of Stok-La. It will take you nearly 4 hours to cover the ascending path of few kilometers. The dinner will be organized in the night in tents at the Stock-La base.

Day 5 : Trek to Rumbak
The fifth day you will begin trekking to Rumbak over Stok-La which is 4800 Mts. The whole trek is thoroughly adventurous as the trek to Stok-la (3km) is a steep ascend while up to Rumbak it follows a deep descent. It will take near about 6 hours to cover the distance of 12 km. Rumbak is a beautiful small shepherd rural community with few houses. This place represents a rich cultural diversity comprising of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries dragon dancers and paintings. Later you will have dinner in the tents at Rumbak and will spend your night there.

Day 6 : Trekking from Rumbak to Ganda-la to Skiu (3380 Mts.)
Excitement packed sixth day awaits you as you will cover 18 km of distance in 8 hours. The trekking will begin from Ganda-La which is an ascending route and will follow the descending path up to Shingo. Dinner will be organized in the tents.

Day 7 : From Skiu to Markha
Enjoy the amazing views while heading towards Markha passing through Hermoger and Saser. It is an easy walk in which you will cover a distance of 15km in approx. 6 hours. Markha valley possesses beautiful green oasis and offers breath taking views of snow capped mountains. The main village Markha situated at the height of 4500 Mts. has scattered potato and barley fields. These fields seem quite colorful in the otherwise barren environment.

Day 8 :Markha to Hankar
A distance of approx. 12 Km of an easy walk will be covered in 6 hours from Markha to Hankar passing through Omlung. The night will be spent in the tents in the beautiful serene environment.

Day 9 : Trek from Hankar to Nimaling
Trek to Nimaling is a gradual walk of about 12 km that will be covered in about 6 hrs. Nimaling has a far-reaching paddock where numerous sheep, yaks, goats and cowyak crossbreeds graze during the summers. This adventurous trekking is followed by Dinner and overnight stay in tents

Day 10 : Leisure in Nimaling
The tenth day will be completely free for you to explore the amazing surroundings of this place. Adventure lovers will find Kang Yaze peak, mounting to the south of Nimaling which is 6400 M high. It is an exquisite mountain, but a real difficult one to climb. One needs permission from IMF to climb this high peak. Dinner will be followed by overnight stay in tents at Nimaling.

Day 11 : Nimaling / Chugdo over Kongmor-la
You will head towards Chugdo via Kongmor-la (5200 Mts.). The initial few kilometers are quite steep and afterwards you have to cover a descending route up to Chugdo. As soon as you reach the top, all your tiredness will be dominated by fresh feel as in front of you will be the breath taking views of beautiful mountain ranges.

Day 12 : Last Trekking Before Returning to Leh
The last trek will follow the route descending to Hemis passing through Oza and Sumdo. It will be a gradual walk of about 13 km that will be covered in about 6 hrs. Later you will visit the Hemis Gompa which is the Ladakh’s largest and richest Gompa, situated 48 km away from Leh. It is famous for a huge painting of Buddha which is displayed before the public only once in 11 years.
Following the visit to the Hemis monastery, you will drive back to Leh and will relax overnight in the hotel.

Day 13 : Board Flight for Delhi
On the thirteenth day, after the breakfast, the eLand Holidays representative will assist you to the airport. You will board your flight to Delhi and will say bye to the adventurous Ladakh.
