Day 1 : Arrival at Leh.
Flight for Leh. In time you will be transferred to the domestic airport by the representative to catch the flight for Leh. On your arrival in Leh you will be greeted by our representatives there. They will assist you till the hotel as the rest of the day will be free for you to get familiar with the high altitude region. Also, you can continue with your personal activities followed by
overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Visit to Ancient Monasteries in Leh
Soon after a fine breakfast, you will head towards a lovely trip to the beautifully built Gompas, namely, Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. Shey Gompa is famous for the large image of seated Buddha Shalyamuni inside it, considered to be the largest metal statue and the second largest Buddha statue in the region of Ladakh. Thiksey Monastery is a twelve storeyed building with 10 temples and nunnery inside it. Hemis Gompa is the Ladakh’s largest and richest Gompa, situated 48 km away from Leh. It is famous for a huge painting of Buddha which is displayed before the public only once in 11 years.

Day 3 : An Excursion to Stok, Matho and Stakna
In the morning, you will proceed for an interesting excursion to Stok, Matho and Stakna. Stok palace museum belongs to the Royal Family. Here you will find a rich collection of ornaments, traditional clothing and thankas. In Matho there is a rich collection of statues and paintings. Later, you will visit the Stakna Gompa whose roof-terrace offers breathtaking views up and down the Indus River Valley.

In the afternoon you will move towards Shanti Stupa. Shanti Stupa is one of the most recent pious monuments of Ladakh. It is beautifully constructed and offers magnificent views at the daybreak. In the night, the Stupa looks spectacular with glittering lights. Situated on the hill top, Leh Palace is to be visited by foot. This 9 storeyed Palace was built by Sengge Namgyal. This grand building is a perfect example of the Tibetan architecture and is said to have inspired the popular Potala in lahsa.

Day 4 : Leh to Diskit Passing Through Khardung La.
On the fourth day, you will drive from Leh to Diskit which takes nearly 7 hours to reach Nubra. You will reach this beautiful valley after crossing the Khardungla pass considered to be the world’s highest motorable road. It offers the visitors exciting trekking opportunities as well as several ancient monasteries. From the Khardmag you will drive to the village of Kharchung and from here you will proceed towards the travelers checking point at Khalsar through the beautiful countryside. After getting the permits registered/checked you will head towards Diskit. At night you will have dinner and will stay in the tents at Teggar.

Day 5 : A Day in Diskit
After early morning breakfast you will walk up to the Diskit Monastery to attend the Morning Prayer Ritual. It will take nearly 45 minutes to reach the monastery through a widely scattered chorten. The 700 years old parts of the Gompa shelters 120 resident monks. For lunch you will return back to the camp after which you will drive 7 km to visit Hunder Gompa. This gompa is famous for a large statue of Chamba in its main prayer hall.

Day 6 : Back to Leh .
On the sixth day, you will drive back to Leh. Go back over the route to Leh via Khalsar and Khardung la.
Overnight stay will be in the hotel at Leh.

Day 7 : Visit to Kargil.
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave for Kargil. On your way, you will get a chance to visit the famous Likir and Basgo Monasteries. Likir monastery is the venue of the annual prayer festival, Dosmoche Festival with about 100 Lamas (monks) on its roll. This Monastery is in the straight charge of Ngari Rimpoche, whose present personification is the Dalai Lama’s younger brother. It was founded by Lama Duwang Chosje in the latter half of the 11th century. Basgo monastery has numerous Tibetan inscriptions carved on stones. Further, drive over the highest pass on Srinagar-Leh road, Fatu-La (13,489 ft). Overnight stay will be in the hotel at Kargil.

Day 8 : Drive to Ringdom.
While Driving to Ringdom via Panikhar, you will cover a total distance of 98 km in about 8 hrs. Ringdom is a small village shelters the Ringdom Gompa. On your drive along Suru River you will witness splendid view of mountains and glaciers.
One has to drive very cautiously and unhurriedly as the road is quite irregular. Dinner and overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 9 : From Ringdom to Padam .
On the ninth day you will leave for Padam over Pansi-la [4406 Mt]. It will take nearly 10 hours to cover a distance of about 108 km. Padam is the headquarters of the famous Zanskar Valley.
Dinner and overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 10 : In Padam .
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave for the excursion to Karcha Gompa by foot. To reach the destination you have to cross the Zanskar Valley as there is a little mount up to Karcha Gompa. Being the largest gompa in the Zanskar Valley, it possesses more than 160 yellow cap monks. The top of the gompa offers a splendid view. In 3 hours you will be able to cover a distance of 5 km. Dinner and overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 11 : Drive Back to Ringdom.
on the eleventh day you will drive back to Ringdom passing through Sani Gompa. The famous attraction of this gompa is the Kanika Stupa. This monastery serves as the venue for Naro-Nasjal Festival. Dinner and overnight stay will be in tents.

Day 12 : Back to Kargil .
You will drive from Ringdom back to Kargil passing through Panikhar which is located in the Suru Valley. A jagged ridge divides Panikhar and Parkhachik. From here one can have the outlook of Nun-Kun peaks. Later you will reach the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13 : Kargil / Leh Or Kargil/Srinagar .
Soon after an early morning breakfast, you will leave for the capital Leh. Driving over the highest pass on Srinagar-Leh road, Fotula-la [13,489 ft.], you will visit Lamayuru monastery which is believed to be the oldest Monastic site. With several legends associated with it, Lamayuru Monastery has a rich collection of wall paintings and Thangkas. You will also get a chance to visit alchi monastery, which is one of the oldest and finest monasteries possessing many Thangkas belonging to 11th or 12th century. Srinagar airport is approx. 204 km drive passing through the word’s second coldest inhabited place, Drass and other popular places like Zoji’la, Sonamarg etc. Later either you will reach the hotel at Leh or houseboat in Srinagar for .

Day 14 : Leisure Day in Leh or Srinagar .
The fourteenth day will be free for you so that you can either relax or do your personal activities. In Srinagar, you may visit the famous Mughal Gardens or you can enjoy the shikara ride on Dal Lake. . Later either you will reach the hotel at Leh or houseboat in Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 15 : Board Flight Back to Delhi.
Early in the morning, after the breakfast our representatives will assist you to the Leh/Srinagar airport from where you will board the flight for Delhi and will say good bye to the beautiful place.
