Day 1 : Arrival at Leh.
Flight for Leh.
In time you will be transferred to the domestic airport by the representative to catch the flight for Leh. On your arrival in Leh you will be greeted by our representatives who will escort you to Durbuk where you will check into the camps. On your way you will also visit Chemra and Taktak Gompas.
Durbuk is a small village located at an altitude of 13,500 feet above sea level falling between Chang La Pass (Third highest motorable pass in the world) and Tangste on the way to Pangong Tso Lake.

Day 2 : Drive to Lukung (100 km)
After the morning breakfast you will drive up to Lukung bypassing village Tangste. This village is covered with mountains and spectacular vistas. Trekking enthusiast consider it as one of the ideal location. After reaching Lukung you will check in the camp and will rest for some time. Lukung is the first village to access Pangong Lake from Indian side.
You will spend the night in the camp.
Day 3 : From Lukung to Pangong Lake (60 kms)
After breakfast, you will drive passing through Spangmik village at the bank of Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake that derives its name from the word hollow is a very long, narrow stretch of water located at an altitude of 14,500 feet. It extends from the east of the Ruthong region of Tibet till the west reaching the neighborhood of Chisul. It forms a boundary between Ladakh and Ruthong as it bends to the North West. On your arrival you will check in the camps.

Day 4 : Leisure at Pangong Lake.
On the morning of the fourth day, after having a leisurely breakfast, you will explore the area, drive and trail along the lake. One can found here rare migratory birds and the uncommon black necked cranes. Dinner.

Day 5 : Drive to Tangtse (90 kms)
After morning meal you will drive back up to Tangtse which is the nearest village to Pangong. On your way you will discover various beautiful sites for photography. You will check into camps after your arrival in the village.

Day 6 : Chang-La Pass.
Today, you will proceed for Chang-la after the early morning breakfast. On your way you will visit Durbuk Gompa. You have to cross Chang-la Pass (5,425 Mt. / 17,800 ft) on your way. It is a High mountain pass in India which is also the main access to the Changthang Plateau located in the Himalayas. On your arrival you will check in the camp for dinner.

Day 7 : Visit Hemis on way back to Leh.
After the breakfast you will visit Hemis Gompa, the richest gompa of this region. Situated 45 km from Leh, It was established in 1672 by Ladakhi king Senge Namgyal. It serves as the venue for the annual Hemis festival honoring Padmasambhava which takes place in early June. It is one of the most easily reached, famous and therefore most visited gompas. After arrival in Leh you will check into your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Departure to Delhi.
Early in the morning, after the breakfast our representatives will assist you to the Leh airport from where you will board the flight for Delhi and will say good bye to the beautiful Leh.
