Mumbai Kerala Tour

DAY 01 - Mumbai (Arrival)
On the 1st day of Mumbai Kerala Tour, following your arrival at the Mumbai airport/railway station, get greeted by our tour representative who’ll assist you in smooth transfer to the hotel.
However, it is fair to alleviate the weariness of your journey by relaxing in the comforts of your room but you may choose to go out for a walk around Juhu Beach. Stay overnight in the hotel.

DAY 02 - Mumbai
Today is the day for sightseeing in Mumbai. The places you will visit here include Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum and the Juhu Beach. The next half of the day is booked to visit the famous Elephanta Caves, famous for its Hindu and Buddhist rock-cut temples. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

DAY 03 - Mumbai - Trivandrum - Kovalam
Today, drive to the Mumbai airport to board flight for Trivandrum. Upon arrival in Trivandrum, drive towards Kovalam where you will check in at the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort.

DAY 04-05- Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort
Today, relax and enjoy the facilities offered in the Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort. The facilities include yoga, private beach, Ayurvedic massage and nature walk etc. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kovalam.

Day 06 - Kovalam - Alleppey - Backwaters Of Kerala.
Today, check out from the resort and drive towards Alleppey. At Alleppey, cruise through the narrow canals and palm-fringed backwaters and marvel at the scenic beauty. All the meals are provided on board the houseboat. Stay overnight on board the houseboat.

DAY 07 - Backwaters - Alleppey - Cochin
Today, in the morning, leave by road for Cochin. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay. However, before going to bed, you can go out and see the art scene of Cochin at will.

DAY 08 - Cochin
Today, in the morning, go out for the sightseeing tour of Cochin. The attractions you will visit include the St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and the Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, take delight in the Kathakali dance performance. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

DAY 09 - Cochin - Periyar
Today, leave by road for Periyar. On the way, marvel at the scenic views of the misty hills. Upon arrival at Periyar, check into the hotel for night stay.

DAY 10 - Periyar
Today, in the morning, go out on an excursion to the famous Periyar Tiger Reserve. Later, enjoy the boat safari on the famous Periyar Lake and see the animals. Following an exciting cruise ride, return back to the hotel for night stay.

DAY 11 - Periyar - Kumarakom
Today, you will head towards Kumarakom. It is a 4 hour drive to this destination known for its breathtaking backwaters, well equipped houseboats and the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
The tranquil location, palm-fringed backwaters, salubrious climate and the overall ambience, all are perfect ingredients for a memorable trip. Stay overnight at the houseboat in Kumarakom.

DAY 12 - Kumarakom - Cochin - Mumbai Departure
On the final day, take a road trip to Cochin where you’ll board flight/train for your onwards journey.
