Kaziranga Wildlife Tours

Acquaint yourself to the natural wilderness of the east region of India. Day 01: Guwahati - Kaziranga
On your arrival at Guwahati, you will be greeted by eLand Holidays representative who will transfer you to the Kaziranga National Park. Located on the banks of the grand Brahmaputra River, this national park sets a great example as a significant natural habitat for in situ preservation of biodiversity. Check in at your pre booked resort. Later in the evening have your dinner beside the bon fire under bamboo wood marveling at the tribal Bihu dance performance.
Overnight will be at the resort.

Day 02: Kaziranga National Park: Rhino Safari
Wake up amidst the natural aura as sun greets you from the window of your room. After a delicious breakfast you will take on a Rhinoceros Safari. Spread over an area of 429.93 Sq. Km. with an added region of 429.40 Sq. Km. this national park is a haven for the one horned Indian rhinoceros, Rhinoceros Unicornis and shelters its world's largest population. This safari is carried out in the western region of Kaziranga. Post lunch, you will head towards the eastern range which is considered best for bird watching. Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Eagle and Grey Headed Fishing Eagle can be frequently seen.
Come back to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 03: Kaziranga National Park: Elephant Safari
After early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. The ideals and criterion made Kaziranga National Park to get emblazoned in the List of World Heritage Site in the year 1985. The area of the park is covered by elephant grass, thus elephant safari is the best way to explore the abundant wildlife of the park. Post lunch you will proceed towards the central region where you will spot large herds of elephants wandering amid the green forest.
Come back to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 04: Kaziranga to Nameri National Park
The fourth day comes with many exciting surprises for you. After breakfast you will advance towards the one of the most exquisite rivers- The Brahmaputra where you will spot the most adorable aquatic animal, Dolphins by boat. After this amazing excursion you will be driven to Nameri National Park. It is located on the hillocks of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival you will check into the Camp. Indulge yourself into various activities like angling, bird watching, elephant rides and rafting.
Overnight stay will be at the Camp.

Day 05: Nameri to Orang National Park
After early morning breakfast you will proceed to the Orang National Park located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River. On arrival check in at your pre booked Forest Lodge. It was established as a wildlife sanctuary in the year 1985 but was declared a national park in the year 1999. Formerly inhabited by the local tribes, this biological park has a wide range of flora and fauna. Rest of your day will be at leisure.
Overnight will be spent at the lodge.

Day 06: Exploring Orang
Breakfast will be followed by a full day game viewing in the park. The similarity of Orang in terms of its marshes, landscapes and wildlife with Kaziranga has given it the sobriquet of mini Kaziranga National Park. The strong population of single horned rhinoceros makes it popular among the wildlife travelers. Apart from rhinoceros this place is inhabited by pigmy hog, elephants, wild buffalo and tigers.
Overnight stay will be at the forest lodge.

Day 07: Back to Guwahati
Early in the morning you will be driven back to Guwahati. On arrival check in at your pre booked hotel. Post lunch you will proceed for your half-day tour of Guwahati City. The capital of Assam, Guwahati is considered as one of the largest cities of east India. The river cruise on the Brahmaputra River is one of the major key attractions of the city. The famous bazaars of the region are Pan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar and Beltola Bazaar. Kamakhya Temple is one of the most revered Hindu shrines of the country. Assam State Museum, Nehru Park, Navagraha Temple etc. are the other major attractions of the city.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Departure from Guwahati
This wildlife expedition gets wrapped up on the eighth day. Our representative will transfer you to the airport to catch flight for your onward destination. A wonderful end of a wonderful journey!
