Fascinating wildlife excursin to Sariska

Sariska, Ranthambore and Bharatpur sanctuaries together make a thrilling mishmash for wildlife enthusiasts who wish to observe the affluent biodiversity of the country from a step closer than others. Nature walks on undiscovered paths watching animals performing various tasks and adding life to the dark jungle is more than just fun!

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
[Arrive Delhi] On arrival, you will be greeted by eLand Holidays representative who will transfer you to your pre booked hotel. Delhi is a city that is tied to its past from end while the other end strives hard to create a new prosperous future. Besides being the capital of the Indian subcontinent, it is also one of the most developed metropolitan of the country.
Stay in the hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast will be followed by the full day excursion of delightful Delhi. Today's well maintained city - Delhi had been through many tough times in the past. Its monuments and forts narrate before you the eternal tales of war and love. Old Delhi has every element of Mughal architecture while New Delhi represents the imperial days. Jama masjid, the largest mosque in India was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The courtyard of the mosque is capable of holding twenty five thousand worshippers who offer weekly Friday noon congregation prayers in the mosque. Opposite to it, Shah Jahan built the famous Red Fort. Art form and ornamental work of the fort is tremendous. Architecture of the fort is the perfect amalgamation of Persian, European and Indian art. The sound and light show is the key attraction for travelers. Then you move ahead to pay homage to the father of the nation - Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Samadhi, memorial to this great personality. Drive past the President's House. Also visit the world heritage sights of Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb.
Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi to Sariska
Early in the morning you will be driven to Sariska. After covering a distance of 200 km you will reach Sariska National Park located on the old road of Delhi-Jaipur. Covered by dry deciduous forests, grasslands, rocks, mountains cliffs and narrow valleys, the sanctuary is spread over an area of 765.80 sq. km. The erstwhile hunting ground of the rulers of Alwar, sariska was converted into a sanctuary in the year 1955 and later in the year 1982 it became a national park. Check in into your pre booked lodge. Overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 04: Sariska National Park to Ranthambore
After early morning breakfast, you will set out for a wonderful excursion of the natural park. Tiger, Leopard, Hyena, Jackal, Wild Dog, Wild Boar, Jungle Cat, Sambar, Rhesus Monkeys, Chausingha, Chinkara, Four-Horned Antelope, Chital, Nilgai, Langur, Civet etc. constitutes the wildlife of the jungle. As a part of bird watching you may spot peafowl, Golden-Backed woodpeckers, White-breasted kingfishers, Tree Pie, Wood Pecker, Crested Serpent Eagle, Great Indian Horned Owl, Bush Quail, Peafowl, Grey Partridge, and Sand Grouse.
Later in the afternoon, you will proceed towards Ranthambhore located near Sawai Madhopur town in Rajasthan. In 1955, Ranthambhore National Park was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary that was converted into a national park in the year 1980. The best part about this national park is its proximity to two other sanctuaries. On arrival check in at your pre booked hotel.
Overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park is bordered by the Vindhyas and the Aravali mountains and covers an area of 392 sq km. the biggest attraction of the Ranthambore National Park remains the Tiger. After early morning breakfast, get on your jeep to explore the affluent wild life of the park. Leopard, nilgai, dhole, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital constitute the major wildlife of the jungle beside the tiger. Visit the Ranthambhore Fort located inside the park. There are three red Karauli stone temples inside the fort devoted to Ganesh, Shiva and Ramlalaji.
Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Ranthambhore/Bharatpur
On the sixth day you will proceed to the world heritage site of Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park previously known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. This natural habitat is a popular avifauna sanctuary which gives shelter to thousands of rare birds like the Siberian Crane that comes here in the winter season. On arrival, you will check-in at your pre booked Hotel. Spend your evening Bird watching at Bharatpur.
Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: From Bharatpur Back to Delhi
Enjoy bird watching early in the morning. You have the option of bird watching on a boat cruise or by cycle rickshaw. With its 375 species, it is one of the best bird sanctuaries that India has. The major fascination of tourists visiting the jungle is the plentiful of traveling birds, which come from as far away as Siberia and Central Asia to spend their winters in Bharatpur. Migratory birds at Bharatpur bird sanctuary are several species of Cranes, Geese, Pelicans, Eagles, Ducks, Hawks, Stints, Shanks, Wagtails, Wheatears, Warblers, Flycatchers, Larks, Buntings and Pipits, etc. Afterwards you will drive back to Delhi. Our representative will transfer you to the airport to catch flight for your forward destination.
