Day 01: Arrive Bhopal
On your arrival at Bhopal airport you will be received by eLand Holiday’s representative. From there you will be transferred to your pre booked hotel. Check in and spend rest of the day at leisure.
Bhopal - the capital city of Madhya Pradesh is quite renowned as the ‘City of Lakes’. It was discovered by erstwhile Parmana ruler Raja Bhoj, in 11th century and provided it the name ‘Bhojpal’. Here, one would find a perfect blend of historicity with contemporary lifestyle. Travelers find this city quite conspicuous due to its strong connectivity with past. City houses several tourist destination and that attracts thousands of travelers every year. From historical work of art to the most recent structures, in Bhopal you will find a glimpse of everything.

Day 02: Visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple and Taj-ul-Masjid
After a delicious morning breakfast at the hotel you will proceed for your sightseeing tour. First, you will visit Laxmi Narayan Temple popularly known as Birla Mandir. This exquisitely built temple is located to the south of the lower lake. It houses amazing sculptures which were made during the past centuries and preserves each one of them with great care. Temple is devoted to Vishnu and his mythological companion Laxmi.

Later you will visit Taj-ul-Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques in Asia. Literal meaning of Taj-ul-Masjid is "The Crown of Mosques". Architecture of the mosque represents great Mughal art of designing and finds resemblance with style of Jama Masjid (Delhi) and Badshahi Mosque of Lahore. During day time mosque is also used as a madrasah (Islamic school).
Overnight will be at Bhopal.

Day 03: Full Day Excursion at Sanchi and Bhimbetka
Get prepared for your full excursion to Sanchi and Bhimbetka after a nutritious morning breakfast at the hotel. Sanchi, a small village in Madhya Pradesh is located 46 km north east of Bhopal. Sanchi is a highly venerated Buddhist pilgrimage center. It is home to several Buddhist monuments which were constructed during time period from 3rd century BCE to 12th century CE. Highlight of the village is the Great Stupa of Sanchi. Its construction was initially commissioned by Emperor Ashoka the Great. Its core is a simple crescent brick structure constructed over the relics of the Buddha. A parasol-like structure - chatra crowns the core symbolizing high rank and was projected to shelter and honor the relics.

Post lunch you will visit the cultural heritage site of Bhimbetka, located 40 km from Bhopal. It is an archeological splendor that exhibits the earliest traces of human life in India. Observe the archaeological treasures, paintings revealing the life of the pre-historic cave dwellers. Overnight will be at hotel in Bhopal.

Day 04: Bhopal to Indore En Route Ujjain
Post morning breakfast you will be driven towards your next destination Indore. On your way, you will visit the holy city of Ujjain. It is located on the eastern bank of the Kshipra River. Previously known as Ujjayini, this town founds its mention in great Indian epic Mahabharata. Visit the famous temples of the town like Mahakaleshwara Temple, Chintaman Ganesh Temple, Bhartrihari Caves, Harsiddhi Temple etc. On arrival in Indore, check in at your pre booked hotel. Indore a major city of central Indian state Madhya Pradesh is also a significant commercial center located 190 km west of Bhopal.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Indore to Mandu
After early morning breakfast you will be driven to Mandu - a magnificent fortress town located on a rocky outcrop approx 100 km from Indore. On arrival, check in at your pre booked hotel.
Get freshen up for a never before experience in the ruined city of Mandu which is renowned for its fine architecture. In the previous times, city was known as Shadiabad which means city of happiness. Our professional guide will take you to Jahaz Mahal (the Ship Palace) which is probably the most popular building in Mandu. The fact that contributes to its etymology is that surrounded by two artificial lakes, this fort appears as a ship floating in water. It was constructed by Ghiyas-ud-din, son of Mohammed Shah.

Day 06: Visit to Omkareshwar and Maheshwar
Two you will visit the famous temples devoted to Lord Shiva - Omkarehswar and Maheshwar. Omkareshwar is located in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Located on an exquisite island called Mandhata or Shivapuri in the exotic Narmada River, this temple is one of the 12 venerated Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Shape of this island resembles the sacred Hindu symbol. During great festivities, banks of the river get decorated with townships of tents and huts.
Second half of the tour will cover another famous site of Maheshwar, a town in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the northern bank of Narmada River. Town is host to many festivals most famous being Nag Panchami, Gudi Padava, Teez (New Year celebrations according to the Hindu calendar) and Mahashivratri.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07: Departure for Onward Destination
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel you will be driven back to Indore. There one of our representatives will in time transfer you to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.
